Kirtland, NM – On August 19, 2026, the NTU Kirtland Instructional Site hosted its New Student Orientation for newly enrolled students beginning the Fall 2026 semester. Kirtland staff and faculty organized an interactive and informative session to welcome students and help prepare them for their academic journey at ÃÛÌÒAPP. The orientation began with a welcome from Garrett Yazzie, NTU Kirtland Instructional Site Coordinator. Representatives from several NTU programs also attended and set up informational booths, giving students the opportunity to learn more about available programs and services, ask questions, and engage with faculty and staff. Each program was also given time to introduce itself and share information with everyone in attendance.
The NTU Marketing Department also hosted a free coffee event, where students, faculty, and staff could receive a free coffee of their choice after completing a short survey. Lunch was provided by the Kirtland Instructional Site before the conclusion of the orientation.
